Biography

Mr. Mauro has always had a deep interest in the evolution of emerging technologies. During his pursuit of a Master's degree in Physics at the Georgia Institute of Technology, he conducted research in atomic sputtering and thin film deposition, specifically investigating absorption of atoms onto a substrate and their interactions. Mr. Mauro also worked at the Georgia Tech Research Institute, where he participated in the design of a visible band sensor for personnel detection, one of the first of its kind. He then continued his education to earn a second Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering with a focus in atomic/molecular heat transfer, providing him with a diverse technical background for his current practice in medical physics.

Mr. Mauro is originally from Fairfield, Connecticut.
